ATVI’s revenue estimates

In the previous article, we discussed that analysts expect Activision Blizzard’s (ATVI) revenue to fall 12.5% in the third quarter. Its sales are projected to rise 16% to $3.06 billion in the fourth quarter. The rise should translate into revenue growth of 4.6% for Activision in 2018.

Analysts have an average revenue estimate of $7.48 billion for ATVI in 2018. They expect the company’s revenue to rise 6.3% to $7.95 billion in 2019 and 8.7% to $8.6 billion in 2020.

While ATVI’s revenue is expected to rise in the single digits in percentage terms over the next three years, its EPS are expected to experience higher growth. Although analysts expect ATVI’s EPS to fall 16.7% to $0.50 in the third quarter, they expect its EPS to rise 42.6% to $2.42 in the fourth quarter.

Activision Blizzard’s EPS could rise 15.8% to $1.34 in 2018. Analysts expect the company’s EPS to rise 11.7% in 2019 and at a CAGR (compound annual growth rate) of 13.80% over the next five years. Its earnings have risen at an annual rate of close to 36% in the last five years.

Electronic Arts’ (EA), Zynga’s (ZNGA), and Take-Two Interactive’s (TTWO) EPS are expected to rise at CAGRs of 13.1%, 30%, and 24.5%, respectively, over the next five years.
