What Analysts Expect from Southwestern Energy’s Q2 Revenues

In the second quarter of 2018, Southwestern Energy’s production is expected to increase by ~3% when compared with Q2 2017. We’ll study SWN’s production in the next part.

However, despite higher production in Q2 2018, SWN’s expected year-over-year revenue decline in Q2 2018 can be attributed to the lower natural gas prices in the same quarter when compared with the year-ago period.

SWN’s peers Encana (ECA), Occidental Petroleum (OXY), Energen (EGN), and California Resources (CRC) are expected to report ~10%, ~16%, ~32%, and ~16% year-over-year increases in their second-quarter revenues.

Now let’s take a look at SWN’s production guidance in the next part of this series.
