Time Warner (TWX) is quite optimistic about its digital networks. Time Warner expects that in another five years, its CNN digital network could earn more revenues than its linear television network. The company is also looking at monetizing its digital property like Bleacher Report.

Bleacher Report is Time Warner’s very popular digital website for sports fans that provides extensive coverage of soccer, MMA (mixed martial arts), and other sports. Considering the website’s popularity, Time Warner expects that it could be further monetized to increase engagement.

Time Warner’s Boomerang service

In April this year, the company also launched a cartoon streaming service called Boomerang, priced at $5 per month. Time Warner expects this service to have a wider reach and expects it to be immensely popular. It also expects that Boomerang will ultimately have 4,000 episodes for streaming.

With its proposed acquisition of Time Warner, AT&T (T) also intends to use its viewership data for TWX’s digital properties to understand viewer preferences in terms of content and also for advertising and marketing services.
