In this series, we’ll take a look at the final manufacturing PMIs for the major developed countries in June 2017. The monthly manufacturing PMIs are important indicators to understand the performance of manufacturing industries.

Monthly manufacturing PMI reports show manufacturing activity, output, new orders, export orders, and employment numbers. They help us assess growth and trends in world manufacturing activity.

In this series, we’ll take a look at the June 2017 manufacturing PMIs for Europe (VGK)(IEV), Japan (EWJ), Germany (EWG), France (EWQ), United States (SPY), and the United Kingdom (EWU). We’ll also look at the US non-farm payroll and ADP employment report for June 2017.
