Important events on the energy calendar 

The energy sector contributed to ~6.5% of the S&P 500 (SPY) (SPX-INDEX) on March 17, 2017. Oil and gas producers’ earnings such as Noble Energy (NBL), Chevron (CVX), Carrizo Oil & Gas (CRZO), and PDC Energy (PDCE) depend on crude oil (ERX) (ERY) (IXC) and natural gas (UGAZ) (DGAZ) (UNG) prices.
