ConocoPhillips’s (COP) 2Q16 production of 1,546 Mboe (thousand barrels of oil equivalent) per day is ~2% higher than 1,523 Mboe per day in 2Q15.

In the past year, ConocoPhillips’s dispositions reflect the impact from asset sales in the Lower 48, Canada, Polar Lights, and Alaska of 36 Mboe per day, 31 Mboe per day, 4 Mboe per day, and 1 Mboe per day, respectively.

Other upstream players

Many other upstream companies such as Marathon Oil (MRO), Southwestern Energy (SWN), and Murphy Oil (MUR) have carried out asset dispositions to raise cash in order to deal with lower energy prices.
