Verizon’s network performance in Des Moines
Previously in this series, we looked at the network performances of the top four US wireless carriers in key metro markets according to RootMetrics’ 1st Half 2016 Metro Area RootScore Reports. The top four US wireless players, of course, are Verizon Communications (VZ), AT&T (T), T-Mobile (TMUS), and Sprint (S).
According to a recent press release by Verizon, “In the new RootMetrics first half 2016 report, Verizon won the overall performance award in Des Moines.” Verizon also announced that “this marks the seventh consecutive time Verizon won the Overall RootScore Award in Des Moines.”
According to the 1st Half 2016 Metro Area RootScore Report for Des Moines, T-Mobile shared second place in overall network performance with AT&T. Sprint came in fourth.
In the previous 2H15 RootMetrics report for Des Moines, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile came in second, third, and fourth places, respectively, in network performance.
Verizon’s network speed in Des Moines
Based on the 1H16 RootScore report for Des Moines, Verizon won first place in network speed. AT&T and T-Mobile shared second place while Sprint came in fourth.
In the previous 2H15 RootMetrics report for Des Moines, Verizon and AT&T held first and second places, respectively, in network speed. Sprint and T-Mobile held third and fourth places, respectively, for that metric in that location.
