Based on the 1st Half 2016 Metro Area RootScore Report for Los Angeles, among the top four US mobile players—Verizon Communications (VZ), AT&T (T), T-Mobile (TMUS), and Sprint (S)—T-Mobile’s network reliability position improved the most, rising by two notches in this market over the previous RootMetrics report for Los Angeles in 2H15.

According to the latest RootScore report, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon shared first place in network reliability. Sprint ranked fourth. In the 2H15 RootMetrics report for Los Angeles, Verizon and AT&T shared the top position, and Sprint came in fourth place.

Text and call performance in Los Angeles

Based on the same 1st Half 2016 Metro Area RootScore Report, Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile shared first place in the call and text performance categories. Sprint took fourth place.

For diversified exposure to T-Mobile, investors might consider the PowerShares QQQ (QQQ). T-Mobile accounted for ~0.7% of QQQ at the end of May 2016.
