VeriSign (VRSN) generated investor returns of 48.3% in the trailing 12-month period and -4.3% in the trailing one-month period. In comparison, it generated -4.7% in 2014 and 51.6% YTD (year-to-date). The company’s share price increased -2.9% in the trailing five-day period.

In comparison, Facebook (FB) and Akamai (AKAM), peer companies in the Internet Software and Services subsector, generated returns of -3% and -8%, respectively, in the trailing one-month period.
