Verizon’s call performance
In the last part of the series, we learned that Verizon (VZ) won the top spot in the overall network performance metrics, among the top four US wireless carriers, in the Cleveland market in 2H15. This was based on the RootMetrics 2H15 results for the market. We also learned that the carrier again got the top-shared spot in network speed metrics. Now, we’ll look at the relative performance of the company’s call performance metric in this market in 2H15.
As per the RootMetrics Metro results, Verizon got the second spot in the call performance metric, among the top four US wireless carriers in Cleveland in 2H15. The company had shared the top spot with AT&T (T) and T-Mobile (TMUS) in this metric for the market in 1H15.
AT&T won the top spot in this metric for the market in 2H15. Meanwhile, T-Mobile’s rank dropped two notches to third place in 2H15. It shared this spot with Sprint in 2H15. Earlier, in 1H15, Sprint had the last spot among these four carriers.
Verizon’s network reliability in Cleveland
Based on the RootMetrics 2H15 Metro results, just like in 1H15, Verizon shared the top spot in network reliability metrics for Cleveland with AT&T. However, T-Mobile’s rank in the metric dropped two notches to third place in 2H15. Sprint shared the third spot with T-Mobile in 2H15.
