Walmart scheduled to report fiscal 2Q18
Before the market opens on August 17, 2017, retail giant Walmart (WMT) is scheduled to report its fiscal 2Q18 results. It’s expected to post EPS (earnings per share) of $1.07, which would be in line with EPS in fiscal 2Q17. The company is projected to report revenues of ~$123.0 billion, a rise of 1.7% compared to fiscal 2Q17.

Before the market opens on August 16, 2017, Target (TGT) will be announcing its fiscal 2Q17 results. Revenue is expected to rise slightly by 0.56% to $16.3 billion. EPS is expected to fall ~5.0% to $1.17 compared to $1.23 in fiscal 2Q16.
Specialty retailer L Brands (LB) will announce its fiscal 2Q17 results after the market closes on August 16, 2017. It’s expected to post EPS of $0.44, a fall of 37.0% YoY (year-over-year). The company is projected to report revenues of $2.8 billion, a slight rise of 4.8% compared to fiscal 2Q16.
California-based retailer Ross Stores (ROST) is scheduled to report its fiscal 2Q17 results after the market closes on August 17, 2017. Analysts expect EPS to rise 8.4% to $0.77 per share compared to $0.71 in fiscal 2Q16. Revenue is expected to be $3.4 billion compared to $3.2 billion in 2Q16.
San Francisco–based apparel retail company GAP (GPS) will announce its fiscal 2Q17 results on August 17, 2017. Earnings are expected to fall significantly by 13.3% YoY to $0.52 per share. Revenue is also expected to fall 2.2% to $3.8 billion.
New York–based Estée Lauder (EL) will be announcing its fiscal 4Q17 results on August 18, 2017. EPS of $0.43 is expected to be in line with the year-ago quarter. Revenue, on the other hand, is projected to rise 7.7% to $2.9 billion compared to 4Q16 revenue of $2.6 billion.
New York–based retailer Foot Locker (FL) will announce its fiscal 2Q17 results on August 18, 2017, before the market opens. Revenue is expected to be $1.8 billion compared to $1.7 billion in 2Q16. EPS is expected to fall to $0.90 compared to $0.94 in 2Q16.
