What Nokia Analysts Expect for Fiscal 2Q17
Nokia’s 2Q17 earnings
Europe-based (EFA) hardware technology (QQQ) firm Nokia (NOK) will be announcing its fiscal 2Q17 results on July 27, 2017. Analysts expect Nokia to post revenue of $6.17 billion, with a high estimate of $6.53 billion and a low estimate of $5.92 billion for the quarter ended June 2017.
If Nokia meets the analyst revenue estimate of $6.17 billion, it would mean a YoY (year-over-year) fall of 3.7% from fiscal 2Q16.

Nokia’s EPS (earnings per share) are expected to be $0.05, with a low estimate of $0.03 and a high estimate of $0.06. Notably, Nokia beat the analyst EPS estimates in 4Q16 by 62.5% when the firm announced EPS of $0.13.
In fiscal 3Q16, Nokia beat its EPS estimate by 25% when it announced EPS of $0.05. Nokia, however. posted EPS that was 25% below the estimate in fiscal 2Q16 at $0.03.
Performance in fiscal 1Q17
In fiscal 1Q17 Nokia reported revenues of $5.7 billion, with EPS of $0.03. Analysts expected the firm to post revenue of $5.8 billion, with EPS of $0.03. Nokia’s revenue fell 2.5% YoY in 1Q17, compared with $5.9 billion in 1Q16.
