According to the recent filing, activist shareholder Elliott Management held 5.7% stake in NRG Energy, which equals 18.1 million shares out of the total outstanding shares. T. Rowe Price Associates, on a net basis, sold 6.9 million shares, according to the latest filing. It holds 10.2% stake in NRG Energy.
