Cisco’s revenues could decline in fiscal 3Q17
Cisco Systems (CSCO) plans to announce its fiscal 3Q17 results on May 16, 2017. Analysts estimate that the company could post revenues of ~$11.9 billion, which would represent a decline from its fiscal 3Q16 revenues of $12.0 billion.
Cisco Systems beat its EPS (earnings per share) estimate in fiscal 2Q17, which ended on January 28, 2017, by 1.8%, posting EPS of $0.57. Its EPS is estimated to reach $0.58 in fiscal 3Q17, which would be a 1.8% increase from its fiscal 3Q16 EPS of $0.57.

Autodesk likely to announce negative earnings again
Autodesk (ADSK) plans to announce its results for fiscal 1Q18, which ended on March 31, 2017, on May 18, 2017. Analysts expect EPS of -$0.34, compared to its actual EPS in 1Q17 of -$0.27. Analysts expect that the firm could post revenues of ~$473.6 million, which would be a 7.5% decline from its fiscal 1Q17 revenues of $512 million.
Stratasys’s revenues likely to decline slightly
Stratasys (SSYS), a diversified 3D printing company, plans to announce its 1Q17 results on May 16, 2017. Analysts are anticipating Stratasys to report quarterly EPS of -$0.02, compared to its actual EPS of $0.09 in 4Q16.
Stratasys’s average revenue estimates for the upcoming quarter are ~$162.6 million, compared to actual revenues of $167.9 million a year ago. Its lowest revenue estimates are ~$154.3 million, and its highest revenue estimates are ~$168.8 million.
Alibaba’s revenues could soar
Alibaba Group Holding (BABA) is scheduled to report its fiscal 4Q17 results, which ended on March 31, 2017, on May 18, 2017. Alibaba is expected to post EPS of 4.8 yuan in fiscal 4Q17. It posted EPS of 9.0 yuan in fiscal 3Q17, which was higher than the estimate of 7.8 yuan.
In fiscal 4Q16, Alibaba’s EPS was 3.0 yuan, missing the estimate of 3.6 yuan. Alibaba’s revenues are expected to be 35.8 billion yuan in fiscal 4Q17, which is well above its fiscal 4Q16 revenues of 24.2 billion yuan.
