Trends in Anadarko Petroleum’s Liquids Production

Anadarko’s liquids production

Liquids represented 38% of Anadarko Petroleum’s (APC) total production in 2016. In the chart below, we can see that total production has increased since 2011.

The percentage of liquids production has increased consistently since 2013. It increased sharply between 2013 and 2016, but it was flat between 2011 and 2013.

As we saw in Part 3 of this series, the company is focusing on liquids growth through a focus on its US onshore operations. At the end of 2016, Anadarko Petroleum’s proved reserves comprised 57% liquids and 43% natural gas.

In the next part of this series, we’ll look at the evolution of Anadarko’s proved reserves.
