The Marcellus Shale

Over the past several years, Southwestern Energy has also grown its total production and reserves in the Marcellus Shale, although the play makes up a much smaller proportion of overall company production than the Fayetteville Shale. The company currently has 337,000 net acres in the Northeast Pennsylvania area of the Marcellus Shale.
